TODAYS READING: Matthew 17:20

PRAYER: "God, as I open myself up to you in these moments to read this passage fresh and anew, I ask that you reveal to me that which you would have me learn today. Help me see. More than that, I pray for transformation as I take what you show me and apply it to my life. Amen."

Did you know that you can move mountains? We all can. All it takes is genuine faith. Nothing would be more challenging than moving an entire mountain. Jesus did not mean this literally. He was simply saying to the disciples that they could do what seems to be impossible if they would just trust God more.

The same is true for us. We all have mountains in our lives – some are enormous obstacles that stand between us and the goals God wants us to reach. I am encouraging you today... Don’t give up.

The next time you are confronted by a “mountain” in whatever form it might take, say to it with genuine faith in God, “Move,” and God will move it out of your way. Nothing will be impossible for you! Having faith as a mustard seed can make you unstoppable.

Prayer: Lord, increase my faith and trust in you. Amen.
